The Theory Test Is A Two Part Computer Based Test.

• The first part consists of 50 multiple choice questions on the highway code and general driving. You need 43 correct to pass.
• The second part is a hazard perception test played out on a computer screen. You must identify a hazardous situation by clicking your mouse button at the appropriate time. You must score 44 out of a possible 75 to pass. Both sections must be passed at the same time.
• You can take driving lesson before you pass your theory.
• You cannot book a practical test until you have passed your theory.

RLM will supply theory test papers for you to complete in your own time and will help with the answers to the questions, if needed. Advice on useful books and DVD's is also available.
